Il reverendo Robert Brooks della chiesa episcopale di Providence,Rhode Island,ha accolto i parrocchiani dicendo>>Il volume della musica di oggi potrebbe darvi fastidio,in questo caso a disposizione tappi x le orecchie>>.A quel punto è iniziata la "U2 Eucharistic",gli schemi al plasma illuminati e dagli altoparlanti la voce di Bono ha intonato "one",mentre i giovani della congregazione cominciavano a ondeggiare a a scandire il tempo con le mani di un'atmosfera a metà strada tra un concerto rock e una massa di gospel.E il fenomeno sta dilagando negli Usa:gli U2 stanno diventando sempre + la colonna sonora delle messe.

Indubbiamente in certi posti San Criterione non è conosciuto ancora come il più grande santo di tutti i tempi, i luoghi, le culture e... gli sciroccati.

Io ho comprato (su ebay)il cd di Prince ed è il migliore acquisto che potessi fare. Ne ho sentito parlare bene ed il fatto che fosse realizzato da un cantante tdg mi ha fatto subito capire che non sarebbe stato il solito cd pop americano che fa riferimento al sesso e robacce varie. In questi giorni ho ascoltato le canzoni diverse volte e mi piace davvero un casino. Se si ha la possibilità di ascoltare musica moderna libera dai soliti cliché (sesso, droga etc), ben venga.
Bono degli u2 qualche tempo fa scrisse anche la prefazione x il libro dei salmi.
